Teenage Kumawood actress, Clara Amoateng Benson, popularly known as Maame Serwaa, has finally brought a complete closure to all the dating allegations that have since been leveled against her – past and present.
In a recent interview with AMP TV, Miss Benson disclosed that inasmuch as she has had relationships with men, she never allows it to get to the sheets, saying point blank and without mincing words that she is a virgin.
Speaking in the local language, Maame Serwaa revealed that she sometime had a crush on a man while in school, but she never allowed her feelings to go beyond the point of admiration. She also indicated that while growing up, people used to tease her with guys by calling them her boyfriends or husband but all that did not drive her to do ‘something’ with them.
Maame in a recent interview after she gained an admission into the university, disclosed that she is currently dating but refused to divulge who her lover is. However, in this latest interview, she has revealed that she is actually dating God. She further noted that she is still under the shelter and guidance of her parents and so will have nothing to do with any man at the moment.
You can easily recall that several rumours bordering on romantic affairs, sex and pregnancy have been circulated about Maame Serwaa at one time or the other for some years now. All eyes have always been on the teenage actress as regards who she is going out with or not. Most prominent among the dating rumours is the alleged one with her colleague Kumawood actor, Bill Asamoah which kept on surfacing time and again even in the midst of denials by both parties.
Her recent disclosure on her virginity status has therefore, finally stamped out all those rumours and allegations. In addition, Maame Serwaa’s manager, who spoke exclusively to YEN.com.gh revealed that the actress has spent over 10 years building her brand and so he won’t sit alms folded and watch bloggers destroy his client’s career with false rumors. He therefore warned that any blogger who puts up false reports on Maame will henceforth be sued.

According to Serwaa, she had her first role after her mother went to a movie set with her. It happened that the child who was to play her first movie role was absent so she took up the challenge and this is how far it has brought her. She has so far won several awards.
Maame Serwaa who is currently studying Performing Arts at the University of Ghana, Legon Campus, has featured in movies like; ‘Who Killed Maame Serwaa’, ‘Maame Serwaa In Love’. She has also starred alongside popular actors like Agya Koo, Kwadwo Nkansah LiWin, Nana Ama Mcbrown, Vivian Jill, Rose Mensah aka Kyeiwaa, Mercy Asiedu, Kwaku Manu, Bill Asamoah and so many others.
