Asenso_Boakye and A plus have flooded various media platforms with attacks and counter attacks aimed at each other and are gradually becoming a major trend on social media.
It all started when the musician took to social media to attack Asenso-Boakye and colleague Deputy Chief of Staff Samuel Abu Jinapor by tagging them as “thieves” and “corrupt arrogant fools”.
Kwame A Plus while commending the New Patriotic Party (NPP) after their annual National Delegates Conference, lodged a verbal attack on the two deputy chiefs of staff appointed by President Nana Addo.
He described them as corrupt officials who are scheming to swindle the government. He also wondered why the two personalities were appointed to serve in government.
Subsequently, controversial MP Kennedy Agyapong got into the mood of calling people out. The MP who is also known for his daring guts called for an immediate investigation of A-Plus’s claims, saying he had every reason to believe that other appointees of President Akufo-Addo were also corrupt.
It gets even more interesting… The two accusers are all staunch supporters of the ruling NPP, the same party whose president appointed the alleged ‘corrupt’ officials.
These accusations continued despite Asenso’s rebuttal. Mr. Asenso-Boakye in a very long and comprehensive post rebuked musician A-Plus for trying to disrepute his image.
While all this was going on, the CID was the audience of the of the corruption allegation brouhaha. But the Department has now become a referee as they have summoned the complainants to back their claims with proof.
According to citifmonline.com, A-Plus and Kennedy Agyapong are to appear before the CID to provide further information on their claims.
