Lawyer Maurice Ampaw has asked the Ghana Police service to as a matter of urgency arrest the captain of Ghana’s senior national team, Asamoah Gyan for the disappearance of his friend, Castro Destroyer.
Castro with his girlfriend, Janet Bandu disappeared while jet skiing on holiday in the Volta Estuary sometime in 2014. Although several search teams were sent to the sea in search of the artiste who was enjoying his fame, there was no trace of him and his girlfriend.
But lawyer Ampaw who is known to have Asamoah Gyan in his bad books has charged the police to arrest the Black Stars attacker and all individuals who accompanied them to the Peace Holiday Resort at Ada because to him, their explanations do not sound convincing.
“With the information I provided for the Police, I can conclude that Asamoah Gyan and his friends at the scene know what happened to Castro and the beautiful lady involved in the incident. Just that Asamoah Gyan and his friends are not being truthful because all those who were present are denying they know nothing about the issue meanwhile they were there at the time the incident happened”.
He indicated that although he had provided the police with enough information on the where about of Castro, the police have asked him to wait for seven years before the take action.
He noted that the family and friends of Castro are aware the highlife icon is alive and therefore the Police should do their work by asking more questions.
