The 2016 Presidential Candidate of the People’s National Convention (PNC), Dr. Edward Nasigre Mahama, has opened up on his appointment as an Ambassador-at-Large of the Republic of Ghana.
Dr Mahama was sworn in on Monday as part of 21 other ambassadors at a ceremony held at the Flagstaff House.
His appointment has since raised public interest especially with regard to his job prescription and the fact that he is an appointee from a different party.
The PNC is especially not happy with the development and has since threatened to sanction him.
In an exclusive interview with TV3’s Jonathan Adams, the ambassador-at-large addresses all the issues: how he was appointed, why he was appointed, what he is expected to do, how his work going to be, why he didn’t inform his party and more.
