Inter Allies improved their standing on the Ghana Premier League after a 1-0 win over Asante Kotoko in midweek.
They moved to 5th just behind their midweek opponents, who drop to 4th.
Kotoko came into the Match Day 22 game with a record of two successive wins in the League, under new coach Steve Polack.
But the Tema-based side did the needful after Abdul-Halik Hudu put the ball behind the Kotoko goalie to score the only goal of the game.
Meanwhile, a Thomas Abbey brace gave Hearts of Oak all the maximum points over Berekum Chelsea at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The win will definitely be a morale-booster for the Phobians as they travel to Kumasi to face arch-rivals Kotoko on Sunday.
