Pescara player, Sulley Muntari has said he misses playing for the Senior National Team, Black Stars three years after being suspended from the Black Stars.
The midfielder said playing for the Black Stars has always been a patriotic call for him serve his country, Ghana.
Speaking on Starr Chat with Bola Ray Wednesday, Muntari said though he is not part of the Black Stars Team, he maintains a strong relationship with the players.
When asked about his rants with the Black Stars Coach, Kwesi Appiah at 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, the former Milan player denied arguing with the coach, he said, “It’s not true…People talk a lot. Kwasi Appiah is good. He doesn’t talk much, it’s important that he is back. He does his best in a simple way.”
Coach Kwasi Appiah lost his job after the Brazil Mundial but was reinstated in 2017 with a task to qualify the four-time African champions to the Africa Cup of Nations and the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
