If you haven’t been told, you may never get the slightest idea that Nana Ansah Kwao IV the chief of Adumasa who is the husband of popular TV presenter Gifty Anti is dyslexic. The sickness which he said was very chronic made it difficult for him to express himself on paper.
The honorable chief of Adumasa was on Starr Chat today with Bola Ray where he narrated his ordeal while growing up with dyslexia. Due to his difficulty in learning, Gifty’s husband was kicked out of one school to the other.
Some of the schools he attended were Jack N Jill, Accra Academy, Martin De Porres, North Ridge School, Mpraeso Secondary ad many others. It was a real hustle and struggle before the Adumasa chief could obtain his O’ level.
I have serious Dyslexia. I could only write in capital letters, my handwriting was bad. I really struggled
Furthermore, it seems the son of Nana Ansah Kwao also inherited the sickness from his father. Speaking further on the program, the Adumasa chief said that his son whom he sent to the UK for studies exhibited traits of dyslexia at school.
The said school he continued informed him about it. This is contrary to what is attainable in Ghana. The schools Nana Ansah Kwao attended could not detect his problems causing to him to be kicked out of one school from the other.
