I find it hard to believe my eyes and ears to hear the Deputy General Secretary of NDC, Koku Anyidoho, run his mouth in accusation of His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. He sarcastically accuses the President of supervising and orchestrating injustice and lawlessness hence his prediction of there being an eventual causation of people’s revolt against the President and his NPP-led government.
Much as I don’t believe in equalization to justify a wrongdoing as two wrongs don’t make a right, I can hardly let Koku Anyidoho, escape without bruising his ego. Was he not very supportive of the lawlessness, corruption, practice of selective justice and all the socio-economic ills that were the norm under former President Mahama and his NDC-led government of which he, Koku Anyidoho was a member?
Was he not fond of hiding behind the moniker Margaret Jackson and Nana Akua Tweneboa Kodua to copiously spew balderdash about then NPP flag bearer cum presidential-candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo? Did Koku Anyidoho not support and sign the petition that finally compelled former President Mahama to exercise his presidential prerogative of mercy to pardon, or to commute the four-month imprisonment sentence imposed on the Montie 3 who were scheming to murder some Supreme Court judges as well as to rape the Chief Justice, Mrs Theodora Georgina Wood? This is the same person who is today playing the saint and/or a victim after the political table has overturned to find him in opposition.
If he believes in the people’s revolt to bring him and his NDC party back to power so soon, let him try to instigate one and he will not only smell pepper but also, be shown where power lies.
His Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo believes in the rule of law or else, Koku Anyidoho and his criminal band of the Ghanaian version of the “Arabian Ali Baba and his forty thieves” would have long seen their arse in prison for the crimes they have committed to bring hardships upon Ghanaians.
I am waiting to see the new song to be sung by him when the Independent Prosecutor starts his/her job in all honesty. If it is for the fear of being prosecuted for the corruption, “create, loot and share” malpractices the NDC committed that is making Koku Anyidoho dream of the people’s revolt, then I shall ask him to cease dreaming for his evil wish will not materialise.
Which Ghanaian in his right frame of mind will revolt to help the NDC thieves to keep or abscond with the money they have so looted from the country? Was it not under the NDC that illegal galamsey activities with Chinese having the audacity to wreak havoc on our ecosystem happened because their Ministers were bonking succulent squinted-eyed Chinese damsels to empower them to have their way in everything they desired?
Koku Anyidoho should be the last person to talk about the President relishing in lawlessness and injustice. Keep chirping, Koku, while the sun shines for there is coming the rainy season when your feathers will get wet and you will find it difficult to run your music box (mouth).
The noose is closing upon the neck of Koku hence his early cry for help but in a form of threat. His threats are empty and only boastful. Get ready to throw up all the monies you the NDC guys have stolen. Ibrahim Mahama has coughed up some of the money he cleverly intended to keep for himself by his use of the infamous dud cheques. The “he-she” Koku Anyidoho must be ready to vomit his, whether there will be a successful people’s revolt or not.
