Managing editor of the Insight newspaper, Kwesi Pratt is calling for the dismissal of the Gender Minister, Otiko Djaba, following the recent animosity between her and the NPP Northern Regional Chairman, Bugri Naabu.
Mr. Pratt, speaking on Peace FM’s Kokrokoo, was displeased that Madam Otiko Djaba still remains in office after misconducting herself as a Minister.
According to him, if the ruling party leadership has admitted that she indeed was wrong in her confrontation with the Regional Chairman, then she has no business staying in her offfice.
“Can this person still be a Minister? Someone whose own party has heard her utterances and found her guilty of misconduct and the use of inappropriate language, and so has been sanctioned forever not to commit such slip of tongue again? And this is a major sanction. It’s a major sanction that the NPP Council of Elders has placed on her. How can she continue to be a Minister?”
To him, “it will be disturbing if she continues to be a Minister”.
He also called on the security agencies to launch an investigation into the allegations by the Regional Chairman, Bugri Naabu adding that he shouldn’t be left off the hook.
