Accra Hearts of Oak have suspended Frank Nuttal as coach over what the Phobians claim is “unsporting and ethical behavior”.
A club statement did not explain what the unsporting and unethical behavior was but claimed Nuttall had admitted to those behaviours in a board meeting. The club said they consider his actions detrimental to their interest.
Nuttall’s assistant Henry Lamptey will take charge of training in the meantime as they decide on their next course of action.
A three-man investigative body made of Dr. Nyaho Tamakloe, Mrs. Ivy Heward-Mills and Frank Nelson will investigate the allegations and report back on February 16th.
Nuttal who has worked in Scotland, Kenya, Egypt, China and the UAE joined Hearts of Oak last year and took them 3rd place in the league.
