Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Frank Nuttall has expressed optimism that his side will win the ongoing MTN FA Cup.
Nuttall said Hearts is well poised to win this year’s trophy to end the club’s almost 10-year trophy drought.
According to Nuttall, there will be no point in taking part of in the competition if his side fails to win the trophy to earn the team a place in the CAF Champions league.
At a post match session after his side beat Young Wise FC 1-0 in the round of 16 of the FA cup match last Sunday, the Scottish trainer said his side is highly motivated to win the trophy to appease their angry fans.
The Phobians are into the quarter final stage of the competition and Frank Nuttall believes his side can cause ‘mayhem’ to the other qualified teams and win the trophy.
“My players are professionals and they know the task so I believe they will continue the good work and make sure we win silverwares this season,” he said.
Hearts of Oak is into the quarter final stage with arch rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dambort, Wa All Stars, Berekum Chelsea, Medeama SC, Nea Salamina, Amidaus Professionals.
