Gyan at Kayserispor: The Black Stars Skipper, Asamoah Gyan thrilled Kayserispor fans and stunned opponents when he scored a late minute goal against Fenerbahce Monday night at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadi. that was Gyan’s first league goal for Kayserispor and it was indeed dramatic, or rather magical!
Asamoah Gyan took advantage of Jean-Armel Kana-Biyik’s cross in the extra time – 95th minute, to head the ball into the net at close range. Gyan actually, did not start the match with teammates, but was called off the bench at the minute 73rd minute.

Kayserispor and Fenerbahce finished half time on equal grounds, with a goal each, courtesy of Umut Bulut’s opener and Ozan Tufan’s retaliation respectively. Fenerbahce however, gained dominance in the early stages of the second half, taking a two-goal advantage and keeping a 3-3 lead against the Anatolians.

The draw has lifted Gyan’s side into fourth place on the Turkish Super Lig standings on 18 points – five points behind leaders Galatasaray – after 10 games.
