Ghana’s state broadcaster Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) had portions of its physical structures gutted by fire late Friday.
No one was reported dead from the fire, which started with several sparks on the evening of a rainy Friday before engulfing one of the GBC warehouses.
According to information on the GBC website the whole building was in flames until fire fighters arrived to douse the blaze.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, but the fire personnel prevented it from spreading to other structures within the broadcaster’s premises. Enditem
