It has really been a busy period for renowned Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie since he started working on the release of his newest collection of songs – The Highest album.
From the New York ‘Da Highest’ concert to ‘Highest’ album launch, the SarkNation Boss stormed the West Hills Mall in Accra on Sunday, September 10 for the signing of the album which is his latest music release.

And just like the album launch which came off two days before [Friday, Sept. 8], the event drew a mammoth crowd of fans to Sarkodie’s side, as the Mall was filled to the brim with patrons numbering up to three thousand.
In addition to the teeming fans, the event was also honoured by very notable artistes such as DKB, Doctor Duncan, Dr. Pounds, Magnom, Medikal, Strongman, Article Wan, Kwasi Arthur, B4Bonah, Teephlow, among others.
Sarkodie’s girlfriend, Tracy, and their little daughter Adalyn were also present at the grande occasion. Recall that little Adalyn is pictured being carried by his father on the cover art work of the Highest tape.

The Highest album is a collection of incredible Hip-Hop and Afro-Beats comprising 15 brand new songs, 3 interludes and a bonus track, totaling 19 tracks.
The collection features some major African and Western acts from Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and the UK including, Sarkodie’s long-time friend and Producer Jayso, Big Narstie, Bobii Lewis, Moelogo, renowned Spoken Word artist Suli Breaks, Victoria Kimani, Korede Bello, Praiz, Yung L, Jesse Jagz, Flavour, and Joey B.
According to Sarkodie, “Highest” is the celebration of his achievements, and is also his most challenging project so far in his music career. And in accordance with earlier expectations, the much-awaited album is already pushing Sarkodie further up the list of world renowned musicians and on the global music map at large.
Prior to the release of the Highest album, Sarkodie who won the Best International Act: Africa at the 2012 BET Awards, had three award-winning albums to his credit – “Rapperholic” (2012), “Sarkology” (2014) and “Mary” (2015).
‘Highest’ which has been receiving numerous reviews and currently dominating global iTunes charts since its release, is being marketed worldwide by Sony Music UK.
