KumKum Bhagya in Ghana -Stars of Ghana’s favorite Telenovela Kumkum Bhagya arrived Ghana yesterday in a grand style and were given a royal welcome by tons of fans who thronged the Kotoka Airport to receive them.

The stars who arrived on Friday afternoon for live shows in Kumasi and Tamale stadium revealed their wish to act in the local language if they could speak it.
KumKum Bhagya has gained massive attention from many Ghanaians since the whole series has been translated into Twi; a popular local language, spoken and understood by many Ghanaians.
After a dinner with Kumkum Bhagya lovers, the Bollywood crew were scheduled to meet their fans at the Accra, Kumasi and Tamale Sports Stadia.
The show which is aired on Adom TV, is enjoyed by many Ghanaians including the Second Lady, Samira Bawumia who met the Kumkum Bhagya cast during a visit to India.

A few months ago, the Second Lady who had traveled to India visited the casting crew of Ghana’s favorite TV show and took pictures with them. Her visit became known after Shivabi (the character Pammi in the series) posted a photo of herself together with the Second Lady on Instagram.
Samira Bawumia who was criticised for endorsing foreign movies had adviced local movie producers to learn from strategies of the foreign movie industries that have given them the upper hand.
Kumkum Bhagya
Kumkum Bhagya is the love story of Abhishek Mehra and Pragya Arora. Sarla Arora, who runs a marriage hall, lived with the hope of seeing her two daughters happily married.
The show follows the lives of the two daughters of Sarla and their hopes, dreams and aspirations. Initially, the series followed a love
triangle between Pragya, Bulbul and Suresh, where Pragya loved Suresh, who had feelings for Bulbul, leading to Pragya and Suresh’s
engagement getting canceled.
