Remember the story of Castro, the musician who mysteriously went missing while on a holiday in 2014? another story might just be plausible enough to end the untold rumors.
A certain diver going by the name Samuel Odartey Lamptey aka ‘Sammy Wizard’ has stated that Castro’s body is currently with a river god.
The diver who claims he has been retrieving bodies that drown in water bodies said he found Castro’s body and that of his girlfriend, deep down the Volta River estuary in Ada after he has spent four days in search of the bodies.
The disappearance of hip life musician Theophilus Tagoe aka Castro and his friend Janet Bandu has raised concerns about whether they are alive or not because all attempts to find their bodies have proven futile.
Theophilus Tagoe popularly known as Castro went missing together with his girlfriend Janet Bandu in July 2014 while on a
holiday with footballer Asamoah Gyan and a host of other friends in the coastal town of Ada.
The duo who were on a cruise in a Jet Ski suddenly disappeared into thin air, with several reports suggesting the couple fell into the Ada river.
But speaking with Kofi Adomah on Kofi TV, Sammy Wizard said he saw the decomposing bodies of the hiplife musician and the young lady.
He explained that, two days after Castro drowned, Captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan contacted him to save his friend. Mr. Sammy Lamptey said he charged him GH₵25,000 for rituals before going under the river.
The diver who said he spent four days in search of the bodies, said he was not able to touch the bodies because a big snake believed to be the river god was lying by the two bodies.
Speaking further he said that when he tried touching the bodies he was warned not to do so by the big snake.
When I tried to touch the bodies, a big snake appeared and warned me not to touch them. So I asked what I could do and I was told there was the need for some rituals to be performed
Castro he said died because he defied earlier cautions given him by the river gods not to come to the place. Sammy wizard said the Marine god had wanted to kill Asamoah Gyan and all his friends for disturbing her but got Castro because he was disobedient.
To get Castro’s body back the diver said, they needed to have done some rituals for both of them. he continued that when he told Asamoah Gyan he said his concern was Castro and not Janet because he did not know her, which caused him (the diver) to abandon the search.
