Baby Jet AIrlines -It is a new airline company and you will be seeing more of them sooner than later in the country. Aircrafts belonging to the airline called Baby Jet Airlines are expected to hit the runway soon.
Ghana international and captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan recently obtained a license from the government of Ghana, to operate an airline company in the country.

This was revealed by President Akufo-Addo at the opening ceremony of African Air Expo at the Kotoka International Airport on Wednesday, October 25.
The airline which is expected to commence operations soon is yet to be classified as a domestic, regional or international airline company.
The company will start first with the commencement of operations with cargo handling, before expanding subsequently to actual travellers.
The government had earlier announced plans to open up Ghana’s local airline industry to attract more players and drive competition. As part of this, the government in the 2017 budget removed the 17.5% VAT on domestic air tickets.

The government has also made efforts to keep the price of aviation fuel at competitive rates in relation to Ghana’s peers within the sub-region.
Speaking at the Air Expo Akufo-Addo also noted that he is determined to make Ghana an aviation hub within the West African sub-region.
Asamoah Gyan is a striker and the Captain for the Black Stars who also plays for Kayserispor in Turkey. He recently signed with the Turkish side after a stint with Shanghai SIPG in the Chinese Super League and already owns a total of 18 companies.
The Black Stars captain has indeed not kept all his eggs in a basket. In this case, he is a jack of all and master of one (football). To state the facts, Gyan has invested in companies importing food (Mama Vits Noodles and Rice), boxing promotion (Baby Jet Promotions), water (Paradise Pac), transport, real estate, mining and student hostels.
The striker also has interests in music production, entertainment with his Asa Band (as well as his personal music career) and event management (JetLink Events & Logistics)
