The popular song Patapaa was accompanied with a crazy dance that requires one to seduce himself in a corner and perform a sexually stimulating dance.
This move graduated from just a dance move on a track to a social media challenge, and then to a trend. Every social media platform has had a fair share of tons of video clips of people performing the one corner dance challenge.
While many have greatly embraced and welcomed the dance as one of the everyday social trends, some have found it rather disturbing that an unarguably immoral display is being promoted in Ghana.
Some of these individuals are people in the likes of Gospel singer Sonnie Badu, Media practitioner KKD, and others.
Expressing his candid opinion on the matter, renowned Ghanaian broadcaster and showbiz Icon Kwasi Kyei Darkwah aka KKD bemoaned the rate at which Ghanaians, especially well-respected people in society, have also jumped onto the dance move.

According to him, the so-called hit ‘One Corner’ song by Patapaa is nothing but a total piece of ‘foolishness’ that must not be endorsed by well-meaning Ghanaians.
KKD lamented that there a lot of great achievements -educational, social and economic that could project a good image of Ghana as well as inspire others to do better.
These achievements he said have come and gone without being propagated or publicized; only for Ghanaians to jump onto the meaningless ‘One Corner’ dance.
He described the development as a social malady which will have unimaginable adverse effects on the youth.
The UK based Gospel musician, deviated from the moral effects of the one corner dance to talk about the health risks its endorsers can be exposed to. According to the singer, it is becoming more dangerous and life-threatening for people engaging in the ‘one corner’ dance.
Sonnie Badu expressed worries over the fact that people now perform the dance under vehicles, moving trucks, on electric poles and with other dangerous objects.
Unlike KKD, the Gospel singer made it clear he was not out to rain abuses on the One Corner singer but was rather concerned about the turn of events around the dance.
One Corner Dance From Demonic Spirits -Man of God
Meanwhile, a popular Rev. Minister in Accra has revealed that the artiste behind the song Patapaa, consulted demonic spirits in a desperate effort to punch himself into fame.
Rev. Mrs. Jennifer Selly, the Head Pastor of WordAflame Family Chapel, has cautioned Christians not be involved in the ‘One Corner’ dance.
Ghanaians saw Sonnie Badu’s fears actualized when a young lady reportedly died while performing some gymnastics in the popular ‘One Corner’ dancing competition in the Central Region, Ghana.
The lady believed to be in her twenties, felt unconscious while showing very prone dance moves as part of the challenge. Unfortunately for the deceased had her body jerking after the crazy dance was over.
However, families of the deceased indicated that the lady whose name was not given had a history of seizure sickness and ignored it to participate in the erotic performance.
