The State Protocol Office has outlined details of the Late Major Maxwell Adam Mahama’s funeral Service.
The deceased will be given a State burial with full Military Honours at the Osu Military Cemetery after a burial service at the forecourt of the State House tomorrow.
A vigil will be held in memory of the late Army Officer tonight, with Africa’s fastest growing media group EIB Network partnering the event for the evening at the Arakan Mess in Burma Camp. Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale and gospel musician SP Kofi Sarpong will also honour the event.
Currently, preparations are underway for the programme and the hierarchy of the military service and government officials will be in attendance.
The fallen Soldier will be laid to rest this Friday, June 9, 2017.
Major Maxwell Mahama was lynched by residents allegedly on suspicion he was an armed robber. His painful death threw the country into a state of shock with a large section of the public condemning the dastardly act.
