The Presiding Archbishop and General Overseer of the Action Chapel International (ACI), Nicholas Duncan-Williams is 60 years today, 12 May.
Duncan-Williams is credited as the founder and father of the Christian charismatic movement in Ghana and other parts of West Africa.
Archbishop Duncan-Williams is also founder and president of Prayer Summit International (PSI) which bring revivals to international cities through the power of corporate, intercessory, and prophetic prayer.
From humble beginnings, Duncan-Williams has risen to become one of the most revered religious leaders in Africa. He was recently named by New African Magazine as one of “The 100 Most Influential Africans in 2017”.
The Archbishop became the first non-American to lead the prayer for US President Donald Trump and his Vice Mike Pence during the inauguration.
He is also the founder of an NGO, Compassion in Action Africa, which has transformed many schools under trees into 21st-century primary educational facilities while also providing clean water and other forms of support. Compassion in Action also supports an orphanage with 150 children and a drug rehabilitation facility with 120 people recovering from drug addiction.
