A doctor, Bernice Naa Teley Bornmai has accused another doctor at the Valley View University, Dr. J. J Lamptey for the death her sister.
In a Facebook post that went viral, Monday evening April 15, 2017, the bereaved sister explained how the doctor administered an overdose of “chloramphenicol […] a drug which had been banned since the ‘90s together with Cipro, cefuroxime, and other fifth antibiotic” to Rita Bortiorkor Bornmai.
The post also said that the doctor refused to call the deceased’s family but left her (Rita) in a taxi to be “dumped” at the 37 Military Hospital.
