The whole of Ghana woke up one early morning to read a very big headline; “DKB IS A BORING COMEDIAN.”
This was said by former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings, after she witnessed the comedian perform at the Easter comedy show few months back.
The news spread like wild fire, it was the topical issue for close to a month and it raised so many questions about DKB and #GHcomedy in general. Many believed there was bad blood between the former First Lady of the Republic and the comedian.
That wasn’t the case when the two were spotted at the sendoff party for the UNAIDS ambassador to Ghana, Mr. Girmay Haile at Labadi Beach Hotel having a good time.
The two were seen taking pictures, dancing, and engaging in a very interesting conversation. It was a Mother and Son affair. Irrespective of what the media said about them during the brouhaha, Madam Konadu and DKB have nothing against each other.
Ghana showbiz needs a lot of these resolutions and burying of hatchets to enable there to be serenity coupled with positivity which enables growth.
