The man behind the successes of DJ Switch, Ghana’s youngest female disc jockey, is set to take a new path in the showbiz industry with artiste management.
Evans Tawia, who’s known in the industry as DJ Fuad, succeeded in thrilling the whole country with DJ Switch who emerged as the winner of TV3’s Talented Kidz season eight.
DJ Fuad told 3News Ghana is yet to see more from him as he takes on artiste management under his record label, Blacknificent, which he said will offer the best for artistes from his camp.
“I am going into artiste management fully because entertainment is my first love. You know, I don’t work with an artiste if I don’t see the end [of his/her success] from the beginning”.For a start, he will on Friday, June 9, 2017, drop a single from his newest talent; a hip pop artiste named Brizzle Pounds.
“Brizzle Pounds is the new face of Ghana’s music. I have more to offer,” he told 3News
Dubbed Azuma Nelson, the track which is produced by Tubhani Beatz is set to give stiff competition Dadie Opanka’s track that uses the same rhythm.
Brizzle Pounds has received two nominations in the year’s Tertiary Music Awards in the categories of Best Hip Pop Artiste of the Year and Best Hip Pop Song of the Year.
