Paramount Chief of Prang Traditional Council in Pru West District of the Brong Ahafo Region, Nana Kwadwo Nyarko III, has appealed to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government to continue and complete all developmental projects which were started by the previous government.
According to Nana Kwadwo Nyarko III, it was about time for health centres in some communities to be upgraded into hospitals to help aid quality healthcare delivery in the country.
He specifically appealed to the NPP government to complete the boarding house building at Prang Senior High School which was started by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.
“We have constructed all the needed structures for the health centre. We have two bungalows for two doctors. We are, therefore, calling on Nana Akufo-Addo to turn the health centre into a hospital,” Nana Nyarko III appealed.
He also called on the government to continue the water projects started by the previous government.
“Our water system is not the best. In the 50s we used to have pipe-borne water in Prang. During Busia’s time he built an overhead tank and tried laying pipes but it stopped when he was overthrown. The previous NDC government constructed some boreholes, now what is left is the laying of pipes to connect to people, and we are calling on the government not to abandon the project but continue and complete them,” Nana Nyarko III said.
He said his outfit was ready to collaborate with government to bring the needed development to Prang.
