The police officer was purportedly heard advising A-Plus to deny the allegations because is a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

However, A-Plus’ claims were found to be baseless after the CID’s investigations into the matter. This was after the musician provided no evidence to back his allegations and the investigative panel found no wrongdoing.
But the CID Deputy Director said that A Plus called her after the CID’s investigation was made public, to express his dissatisfaction with their findings.
She explained that shortly after their conversation, the controversial musician threatened to make their conversation public as a form of revenge to her team for describing his allegations as baseless.
In the said conversation, Maame Danquah was heard urging A-Plus to retract his allegations because the accused persons, like himself, were members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
However, the CID officer has stressed that she was in full agreement with the conclusions reached by her outfit, to the effect that the corruption allegations were baseless.
stating clear her grounds, she said;
I wish to categorically and emphatically state that, I have never intimated to A-plus in any conversation whatsoever
The CID officer continued that she had wanted him to return to the CID to give a further statement but he “failed to report back to document his denial of the thievery allegations even though he had categorically stated so in his verbal narration,”
Meanwhile, the Comedian has not debunked these claims.
