Frosinone midfielder Yussif Raman Chibsah says his outfit are in good spirits ahead of Sunday’s Italian Serie A fixture against Parma.
The Canaries’ corner has suddenly brightened up following a 3-0 away triumph over SPAL in last week’s matchday 10 fixture.
Significantly, the win was the club’s first of the season.
“Our performances against SPAL is a clear indication of what the team is capable of, and we are hoping to build on from that game,” Chibsah, who opened the scoring against SPAL, told Ghana Crusader.
“Confidence is a massive thing and it is amazing how much a single win can change the mood of a squad.
“Morale within the squad has always been electrifying but to get your first win of the season away from home, having played so well, would obviously shoot confidence to another level.
“There’s a certain feel-good factor going into the game against Parma on Sunday. We hope to capitalize on that.”
While Frosinone sit second from bottom on the 20-team Serie A table, Parma occupy the 13th position.
Chibsah has been a key part of The Canaries’ set-up this season, having played and lasted for the entire duration of all 10 Serie A games played thus far.
A product of Juventus’ youth system, the 25-year-old joined Moreno Longo’s outfit from lower-tier side Benevento in January
