According to the entertainment personality, naming his first child Google was not an impromptu gesture, but was well pre-conceived. He explained that he is not educated and Google has been his major source of help whenever it comes to searching for information.
He therefore decided to name his son after the search engine so that he can be his researcher.
He is going to be my researcher. I’m not educated and I’ve been searching everything I want to know on google. I’ve always planned to name my first child Google so that he/she helps in researching”.
Meanwhile, the baby boy has since started making media headlines, owing to this absurd name given to him by his father. Reactions have also been pouring in on various media platforms regarding the gesture.
While some section of the public could not hold back laughter over the name, others are criticising actor Dzogbetsi for such a ridiculous western name. This group of critics are of the opinion that Nebu went too far with the name thing, pointing out that even Americans never named their kids after the world’s largest and most popular search engine.
Baby Google was born on October 10, 2017 at Ankaase Methodist Hospital in the Ashanti Region. He has become the first Ghanaian child ever to be named after a search engine.
