Popular dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns, has died in a gruesome road accident that occurred late Thursday evening on the Sunyani-Kumasi road.
According to police, Ebony and two military officers were on board a Jeep with registration AS 497—16 from Sunyani heading towards Kumasi when it collided head-on with a VIP bus heading towards Sunyani from Kumasi.
Two other military occupants also died later at the Bechem Government Hospital after they were rushed there Supt. John Adusei, Mankraso District Commander, confirmed.
The driver of the VIP bus reportedly survived the accident but he is currently unconscious at the same hospital receiving treatment from doctors.
The body of the Maame Hwԑ hit singer, and the unidentified military personnel were rushed to the Bechem Government Hospital after the accident but died shortly after.
The police commander of Mankraso, Supt. John Adusei has confirmed to SOKY STAR that the bodies have been deposited at Mankraso Hospital Morgue in the Ashanti Region.
