The four juveniles arrested over the gang-raping of a teenager in a widely circulated video have been remanded in juvenile cells.
They are expected to re-appear in court on Wednesday, January 10, 2018.
The four were picked up by the police after a search was mounted when the video went viral and stirred public outrage.
A jury of four was constituted last Wednesday to begin hearing the case.
At the second hearing in court on Wednesday, the prosecutor prayed for more time to gather evidence from ongoing investigations.
Our correspondent, Ibrahim Abubakar, reported that relatives of the suspects trooped to the Asokwa District Court in the Ashanti Region to witness proceedings.
Lawyer of the accused, John Boamah, was satisfied with the proceedings, stressing time has to be allowed for such cases.
“We need not be in a rush for the matter to be prosecuted,” he told journalists on Wednesday.
He said with the legal juvenile custody, parents of the suspects can visit them and even feed them.
