The tenth Deutsche Welle Global Media Forum will today kick off in Bonn, Germany.
Per Second News correspondent reports from Germany that the forum is focusing on the international economic growth, social policy and the role of media in the modern world. The topics for this year includes, Artificial intelligence and journalism, Ostracism, demarcation and autonomy, Populism — a threat to values, Post-truth politics and our future and African satire draws attention.
A total of over 3,000 persons, including German Foreign minister,Sigmar Gabriel, Haux Thorsten, Vice President Global Media rights, Hadas Yakov, Isreali Ambassador to Germany, Kimmel Arnold, Director of the Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy and Programme Director for International Relations of the Political Academy PolAk – Austria, European Network of Political Foundations (ENoP), Austria, Mr Femi Soneye, Publisher of Per Second News, Mr Horatius Egua, Publisher of Frontiersnews, Mr James Ume, Publisher of The Whistler and thousands of Media executives across the globe.
The conference is being held under the motto ” “Identity and Diversity”.
