The Black Stars Team B triumphed 2-1 over Gambia on Wednesday in an international friendly played at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The match was part of Ghana’s preparations for the upcoming CHAN 2018 qualifier against Burkina Faso in August and the WAFA Tournament in Ghana in September.
Hearts of Oak midfielder, Thomas Abbey, put Ghana in the lead in the 54th minute but Gambia pulled even in the 74th minute through Lamin Jallow.
3 minutes later, Tema Youth’s Joseph Paintsil was fouled for a penalty which was converted by goalkeeper Razak Abalora to give Ghana the win on the day.
