Ghanaian Highlife singer Bisa Kdei was spotted with American R&B star Omarion over the weekend in Kenya. They partied at the VVIP access area of the plush KIZA CLUB in Nairobi.
Kdei is currently in the East African country where he is recording for the next season of Coke Studio Africa.
His management tell us, he is also working on his next studio album KONNECT, which would feature artistes across the world.
Born Ronald Kweku Dei, he gained mainstream attention with the soundtrack for the movie ‘Azonto Ghost’ which got him a ‘Best Movie Soundtrack of the Year’ award at the 2012 Ghana Movie Awards.
Since then he has released about a dozen singles which have all gained massive rotation on mainstream radio and Television.
He has collaborated with the likes of Sarkodie, D Black, Efya, Obrafour, and Kwaw Kese. He recently recorded a song with Nigerian act, Davido.
Kdei has also headlined a number of shows in Ghana and outside the country.
His second album ‘Breakthrough’ was released last year to great praise by industry watchers and music fans.
He won four awards: ‘Most Popular Song of the Year’, ‘Highlife Song of the Year’, ‘Album of the Year’ and ‘Highlife Artiste of the Year’ at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards.
Kdei was also nominated at the 2015 African Entertainment Awards in the ‘Best Male International Act’ category.
He won ‘Video of The Year’ award at the 2016 African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA).
