Captain of Berekum Chelsea, John Moosie, is hopeful his team will get a point in their game against Accra Hearts of Oak on Wednesday.
Performance of Berekum Chelsea has not been consistent. The team has lost in its last 5 away games.
It currently lies 9th on the Ghana Premier League table after match day 21.
But Speaking on Onua FM, Moosie said he believes his side will break their winless away record and possibly get a point when they meet the ‘never say die’ boys.
“Though Hearts of Oak lost against Bechem United last Sunday, we are hopeful to pull a surprise. We also played at home and drew, once we drew they could also play in Accra and draw or lose.
“Hearts went to Elmina and won against sharks. Football is a game, everything can happen, we hope to at least draw in the game [this wednesday]”, he said.
The Captain has meanwhile advised the referee for today’s game to be fair in his officiating and urged fans from both sides to be calm with the outcome of the match.
“My advice to the fans of both teams is that they should be patient, avoid any chaos. We are all one people and the officiating referee should officiate according to the law, he should not consider Hearts of Oak. I believe when he officiate well, we will all enjoy the game” he said.
Hearts of Oak lost to Berekum Chelsea by 1-0 at Berekum in the first round of the league.
