Gyan, who joined the Super Lig side from Shanghai SIPG on a two-year contract, got his goals in the second half to give his side the lead after Felix Klaus and Niclas Fuellkrug erased Geoffrey Mujangi Bia’s opener.
His first goal came from the penalty spot in the 82nd minute and four minutes later, he completed his double as Welliton sealed the victory with the fourth goal in the closing stages of the game.
The 31-year-old would be hoping to re-enact his fine form when Marius Șumudică’s men travel to Galatasaray for their Turkish Super League opener on August 14.
