President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will tour the Greater Accra Region this week from Tuesday, December 4 and commission 10 different projects.
The Minister of Information, Mr Kojo Oppong Nkrumah who made this known at a media briefing on Sunday said the three day tour will end on Thursday, December 6, 2018.
The tour will take the president to a number of constituencies including Krowor, Tema East, La Dadekotopon, Korle Klottey, Adentan, Okaikoi South, Odododiodoo, Ablekuma South, Ablekuma Central, Anya Sowutuom and Bortianor/Ngleshie/Amanfro.
As part of his tour, Nana Akufo-Addo will inspect ongoing projects under the One District-One Factory programme such as Entrance Pharmaceuticals and Research Centre, Sunda, and Everpure.
Other projects include the Tema Motorway Roundabout construction, works on the concrete road at Tema Industrial Area, construction of the Madina-Adentan highway footbridges, the Accra railway construction, construction of the Jamestown Harbour and the construction of 25 affordable housing project.
Nana Akufo-Addo will also inaugurate the Accra Metropolitan Assembly office complex as well as the Accident and Burns Centre at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital and cut the sod for the construction of Tema-Newtown roads.
