We also proposed that we would like a state burial and also the erection of a monument to his memory to serve as a lesson to all Ghanaians to remind us that never again will such a thing happen but what we did not expect is the government setting up a fund and the President contributing to it for the wife and children Major Mahama left behind.”
He added that, the family is grateful to all Ghanaians for their support since the tragedy happened and further asked for continuous of the public.
He called on the public to help in fighting for justice for Major Mahama.
