President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is scheduled to leave Ghana for Monrovia, Liberia on Friday, May 26 as part of the third phase of his tour of West Africa.
President Akufo-Addo began the phase last Tuesday with a visit to Sierra Leone.
He is expected to hold bilateral discussions with Liberian leader Ellen Sirleaf Johnson and address a meeting of Ghanaians resident in Liberia.
He will then move to Bamako, Mali, where he will hold similar diplomatic discussions with President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita.
Ghana’s leader began his familiarization tour of the subregion early this month with successive visits to Togo, Burkina Faso and La Cote d’Ivoire.
He followed up with a second phase to Senegal, Guinea, The Gambia and Cape Verde.
President Akufo-Addo is expected back home from his latest tour on Sunday, May 28.
