Afriyie Acquah scored his first Serie A goal of the season to earn Torino a 1-1 draw at Sampdoria on Sunday but the midfielder had to be sent off for yellow card accumulation.
The Ghana international, who was handed a starting role, had his shot at the edge of the box deflect into the net for the equalizer in the 25th minute.
Lucas Torreia had put the home team ahead on 11 minutes.
Acquah received a second yellow card in the 73rd minute after being booked in injury time of the first half.
He was making his 12th league appearance of the season.
