Veteran Ghanaian actor Super OD passed away Tuesday dawn at the Agona Swedru Government Hospital.
Super OD, according to family sources, was rushed to the hospital Monday, February 12, 2018 following an ailment but lost the battle for his life Tuesday.
The comedian, who is known in private life as Asonaba Kweku Darko, has been ill for some months now.
The former Osafo Dadzie actor had a blissful acting career spanning from the 1970s to the 90s, was very popular for his roles in local Ghanaian series, Akan Drama on GTV.
Acting with the Oppong Drama Group which later became known as Osofo Dadzie Group, Super O. D gained nationwide popularity for his impeccable acting and rib-cracking jokes.
