Local police and emergency services have rushed to Manchester Arena in the United Kingdom following an Ariana Grande concert. According to concertgoers, reportedly two explosions went off inside the concert venue where the pop singer was performing.
A rep confirms to Billboard that Grande is “okay” following the incident.
Greater Manchester Police issued a statement, confirming there’s been multiple fatalities and others injured at Manchester Arena. The GMP also warns the general public to avoid the area. Various patrons took to social media posting videos of the chaos following the explosions, giving their stories on what happened following the concert.

UPDATE #2: TMZ reports that Grande has suspended her current world tour indefinitely. Along with a show at London’s O2 Arena on Thursday night, the singer has post-poned upcoming shows in Belgium, Poland, Germany and Switzerland.
Sources close to the singer tells TMZ that Ariana is inconsolable and “in hysterics” after learning 19 people died and around 50 people are injured after the explosions shortly after her concert in Manchester. Shortly before 11 p.m. EST time, Ariana Grande broker her silence tweeting “broken. from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don’t have words.”
Earlier in the evening, her manager Scooter Braun posted a note on Twitter. “We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly act,” said Braun. “We ask all of you to hold the victims, their families, and all those affected in your hearts and prayers.”
UPDATE #3 (5/23): Greater Manchester Police release an updated statement that 22 people were killed during the suicide attack, and 59 left injured. The suspect, acting alone, died immediately on the scene. “The attacker, I can confirm, died at the arena. We believe the attacker was carrying an improvised explosive device, which he detonated, causing this atrocity,” said Chief Constable Ian Hopkins.
