Arsenal are interested in a 16-year-old dubbed a ‘new Mesut Ozil’, though they could be set to lose out on the Swede to Feyenoord.
Peter Gwargis has attracted a lot of interest in Sweden in the Husqvarna FF youth system and his agent says he has had invitations from several clubs to train with them.
The attacking midfielder’s agent has said many in his homeland see him as a player similar to Gunners star Ozil.
While Arsenal and Eredivisie champions PSV have appealed to him, it is Feyenoord he seems most interested in.
“I’m in Holland right now on a visit to Feyenoord with Peter Gwargis,” his agent, Walid Faour told Fotbolltransfers.com.
“Peter has trained with both the U17 and U19. He is a left-footed, attacking player who many here believe will be a new Ozil.
“Both Arsenal and PSV have sent invitations but now Feyenoord feels most right.”
