Manchester United’s global appeal is beyond question, with the Red Devils having become of the biggest brands on the planet.
The Old Trafford outfit recently topped a poll run by Goal to find the world’s most popular club, with Jose Mourinho’s men collecting 23 per cent of the vote.
Their attraction is obvious, as 20-time winners of the English top-flight title – with 13 of those successes coming during the Premier League era.
They also boast some of the finest talent in the global game, and have done for many years.
It should therefore come as no surprise to find that some supporters go to great lengths to watch United in action.
Some even travel halfway around the world to catch a glimpse of their heroes, with Paul Pogba recently catching up with a globe-trekking follower from Australia.
That is some commitment to the Red Devils cause, with an 18,000-mile round journey made on a regular basis.
United have at least been offering something for their fanatical support to get excited about of late, with Mourinho’s men having won eight successive games in all competitions and gone unbeaten since November 3.
