Arsenal endured a tough afternoon at Chelsea on Saturday, with Mesut Ozil’s frustration boiling over at the final whistle.
The Gunners slipped to a 3-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge, with Arsene Wenger’s side offering little to a crunch clash with their capital rivals.
Chelsea controlled proceedings throughout, much to the frustration of those in the away end.
A loyal fan base are seeing their patience tested once again, with another title bid ebbing away in north London.
Ozil, however, was eager to acknowledge their support at the end of another humbling afternoon, blasting his team-mates for not doing so.
Alexis Sanchez and Nacho Monreal were prepared to turn their back on the away following as they trudged off the field.
They were called up by their heated German colleague, though, Ozil beckoning them back from their journey towards the tunnel – as captured by Goal journalists.
Monreal eventually turned to applaud the Arsenal supporters, but Alexis headed straight for the dressing room.
The Gunners are now 12 points adrift of Premier League leaders Chelsea, with it possible that they could end the weekend outside of the top four.
