We’ve seen 2 hawkers in Lagos, Nigeria turn models through the coincidental force of fate and there are still countless on the road going about their hawking without any special recognition.
A Kenyan hawker on one of the streets of Nairobi has caught the attention of passers-by and those driving by. Everyone who has set their eyes on her call her beautiful. She became an internet sensation when one of the Kenyans on Instagram, Blak Aende, shared her picture with the following caption
“When some young women await men to sort out their bills, when some sell their bodies & dignity for money, this beautiful and determined lady reports to the streets to make her own cash by hawking sweets. This is what I’d call strength of a woman. She deserves to be great. My prayer, may God remember and open better n bigger doors for her”
While some make the news for nudes, this pretty hawker is being celebrated for choosing to walk the longer route to success.
