It is no longer news that Mark Zuckerberg, the 32 year-old founder of Facebook is in Africa.
His first stop was Nigeria; the Africa’s most populated black nation and now second biggest economy in Africa after South Africa – where he interacted with Nigerian technology startups and the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and pledged to support for Nigerian tech startups, SMEs.
He announced his entry into Nairobi, Kenya yesterday on his Facebook timeline and has this to say of his mission: “I’m here to meet with entrepreneurs and developers, and to learn about mobile money – where Kenya is the world leader,” he said.
On his second day visit to Kenya, apparently Zuckerberg couldn’t hide his love for Kenya wildlife as he splashed pictures of his visit to Lake Naivasha, a wildlife sanctuary.
