Chelsea lie 7th on the table ahead of their match against league champions Leicester City
John Terry was on the bench as Chelsea boss Antonio Conte kept faith with his 3-4-3 formation against Leicester City, while Claudio Ranieri rests Riyad Mahrez and Islam Slimani.
Chelsea captain Terry suffered an injury in the 2-2 draw with Swansea on Sept. 11 and missed the Premier League defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal as well as the 2-0 win over Hull, when Conte started with his new formation.
Terry has not been included in the starting XI, with Cesar Azpilicueta, David Luiz and Gary Cahill preferred at the back, and Conte makes just one change, with Pedro replacing Willian, who is absent following the death of his mother.
N’Golo Kante also starts the game at Stamford Bridge as he faces Leicester for the first time since his departure in the summer.
