Manchester United draw against Arsenal in a thrilling 90 minutes of action at Old Trafford. The match was tipped to be a huge match considering Arsenal’s form this season and Mourinho’s unbeaten record over Arsene Wenger.
United were stronger in the offence area as they pressed heavily on Arsenal’s defence. However, they failed to execute the few chances they created. So, they did not pose enough threat to Arsenal’s back four or Cech for that matter.
Juan Mata opened the score line in the 68th minute with a shot in the penalty area. It seemed Mourinho’s boys were about to grab their second straight win but a late header from Olivier Giroud saw the Red Devils drop two points.
The delight however is that Marcus Rashford continues to remain a promise for United and that Mourinho still never lost to Wenger.
Manchester United will play West Ham United next week at Old Trafford.
