Man City has not won a match in their last four
Manchester City was held to a one-all draw at home by Southampton.
Manchester City started the season extremely well, picking up all eighteen points in their first 6 games. Their six straight wins under new manager, Pep Guardiola at the beginning of the season earned them a good reputation.
Their performance however, in their last four matches has been very abysmal drawing two and losing two. They lost by 2 goals against Tottenham and split points with Everton the following week. To add up to Guardiola’s woes, they were beaten by 4-0 by Barcelona in their champions league match this week. Today’s draw makes it four straight games without a win. City started the league as favourites with so much zeal and tenacity but in recent times, we’ve seen that enthusiasm drain.
They can however compensate themselves with the fact that, they’re still top on the league table and can always turn the tables.
Man City travel to ‘The Hawthorns’ next Saturday to play West Bromwich Albion.
