Indomitable Lions Belgian coach Hugo Broos is being owed nearly seven months salary by the Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT).
According to Jeune Afrique, Broos who is on a 45,000 euros monthly salary, is yet to receive a dime from the federation close to seven months now.
Broos’ salary issue with the federation may not be unconnected to reports making the rounds that he is one of the coaches shortlisted for the South African coaching job.
In February this year, Broos led Cameroon to their fifth Africa Cup of Nations title in Gabon following their 2-1 win against Egypt in the final.
Cameroon will face the Super Eagles on match-day three of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in Uyo in August.
The Indomitable Lions are currently second in Group B on two points after two matches, four points adrift of the Super Eagles who current top the group with six points.
