The Nigerian government is either confused about its meaning or has decided to redefine it.
The Nigerian government may have succeeded in redefining the word ‘healthy’.
According to Oxford Dictionary, ‘healthy’ means: ‘In a good physical or mental condition; in good health.’
But the Nigerian government is either confused about its meaning or has decided to redefine it.
The Presidency has used the word ‘HEALTHY’ to describe the present state of President Muhammadu Buhari, who left Nigeria on Thursday, January 19, 2017 for a 10-day MEDICAL vacation in London.
Nothing wrong with healthy people going on medical vacation. But why extend such vacation till doctors certify you healthy?
Also, acting president Yemi Osinbajo, Senate president Bukola Saraki, Speaker Yakubu Dogara and presidential spokesperson Femi Adesina have all said the president is ‘healthy’.
Information Minister, Lai Mohammed said Buhari wasn’t even sick. ‘He’s hale and hearty,’ he lied … said.
Do they know the meaning of these words or are they deliberately messing with our heads?
Buhari was expected back at work on February 6 but requested for a leave extension to pay more attention to his HEALTH as advised by doctors.
Seriously?
So Osinbajo, Saraki, Dogara, Adesina and Mohammed informed 170 million people their president is fit as fiddle, yet this president is ‘attending to his health’
